Here’s a new activity not many people in the club have done, help the state stock the local streams with trout.  It basically involves taking 5 gallon pails filled with trout and water and throwing them into the stream.  Looking at the videos from previous years, looks pretty straight forward.  It’s a good idea to wear waterproof boots, in case you need to step into the water.  They couldn’t tell me how long this normally takes, depends on the location and how many fish.  There is no sign up with the state, you just show up.  We’ll plan to do the Yellow Breeches on March 22.  Meet-up is at 9:45 at the Boiling Springs Post Office right in town on RT174.  Says we could be stocking anywhere from the Allenberry to the mouth at the Susquehanna.  I figure we’ll do this for a few hours, and then head to lunch…
