With this nice warm weather, some color left on the trees and before the time change this weekend, we’re doing a spur of the moment cruise North to Perry County.  Just show up before 12:30 at Gate 3, at the Carlisle Events Fairgrounds with your Corvette or whatever vehicle you want.  Bring your own chairs if you like.

Taking backroads, we’ll make a quick stop at Shoaff's Mill at Little Buffalo State Park.

Clay’s Covered Bridge is just a short walk from the mill.  Depending on the leaf color, could be a nice photo op.

Next stop is The Winery at Hunters Valley.  It sits on a hill with a beautiful view of the Susquehanna Valley.

The wines there are typical for this area. They offer flights and tastings and have some snack-type foods.  They will also have some specials this Friday, see below. Plan to stay here as long as you want.  After an hour or two, some of us will probably head down to 3B’s in Dauphin for some ice cream (before they close next weekend for the season), and then return home.
