CVCC'ers

The leaves are starting to look good, so Barb and I decided to do a short fall foliage cruise ending at the Little Buffalo State Park Apple Festival this Sunday, 10/22/23.  The weather forecast looks decent and the list of activities at the festival looks pretty nice.  The old mill will be running and there will be music, food and crafts.  We’ve never been to this, but it sounds like fun.  See the complete description of activities below from their website.  https://events.dcnr.pa.gov/event/apple_festival_8889?utm_campaign=widget&utm_medium=widget&utm_source=DCNR+Calendar+of+Events

Let’s plan to meet at The Carlisle Fairgrounds, Gate 3 at 11:00.  We’ll head out on a 45 min. cruise at 11:15, getting us there around 12:00.  The festival goes from 10:00 to 3:00, and people can stay as long as they want, before heading home.  I’m not sure how crowded this gets and what the parking situation is going to be.  There are a few parking lots, and we’ll try the closer ones first.  I doubt we’ll be able to park together though.  Below is a link to the route we’ll follow.
