On Saturday, September 28th, we will Cruise to “Gravity Hill” near New Paris, PA to try to figure out why that when our car is pointing downhill, when we put it in neutral and let off the brakes, it rolls backwards up the hill!
We will meet at 11:30am at the Rutter's Gas Station located at I-81 Exit 29 on the Southbound side. After the admin (Roster sign-in & waivers), we will proceed South to Chambersburg and exit on to US-30 West and go to the Jean Bonnet Tavern in Bedford for a late lunch, at ~1:15pm. https://www.jeanbonnettavern.com/
After Lunch, we will proceed to “Gravity Hill,” about 15 minutes away, and attempt to solve the mystery of why our Corvettes roll backwards uphill, when they are pointing downhill!
Once we figure out the optical illusion, if we do, we will head home!
