This will be about an hour cruise to Thunder Ridge Vineyards for their Corvette night on Friday, May 27.  This winery is a small family-owned business just east of Hanover, PA.  The Lokars and Mitchells went to their Corvette night last year and had a nice time.  There were about 20 or so Corvettes, mostly from the York Club and the Cruzin’ Vettes Club out of Hanover.  Besides wine, they also have cider on tap, beer in cans and bottles, and wine slushies.  They serve brick oven pizzas (which are excellent) and cheese/cracker trays.  You can also bring your own food and snacks.  They have a limited number of tables and chairs on their patio area, so I suggest bringing your own chairs.  If anyone has an easy-up canopy that fits in their Vette, it would be good to have.  This event goes from 3:00 to 8:00.  I’ve suggested and they’ve agreed to do an award this year selected by them as “Owner’s Choice” with a gift certificate to the winner.  Given that the winery event is mostly outdoor, this will be weather dependent, with the call being made that morning. We’ll meet at the old Deer Lodge parking lot just south of Mt Holly Springs at 12:30.  Please bring your radios to help keep everyone together.  On the way down, we’ll stop at the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing in Latimore for about an hour.  It’s a nice little museum and will make a good break.  Link here: https://emmr.org
