About The Event

CVCC members will display their Corvette and attendees may vote on their favorite.  Additional activities will include a Children’s Area, Vendor Booths (free food), Music and this year will be our Corvette Club on display followed by Fire Trucks and Patrol Cars. CVCC presence at the Night Out is to help raise money for the care and upkeep of Detective Gibbs, a K-9 Facility dog in the Camp Hill School District. He was obtained through Honor #25 which is the Jonathan Fagan Memorial Scholarship Fund. Jonathan was a recent Camp Hill graduate who passed away in 2019 due to anaphylactic shock. The scholarship awards seniors who participate in dual sports.

Some of Det. Gibbs duties:

  • greets students upon arrival at school
  • visits classrooms helping students with test anxiety
  • eases the barrier of the presence of a police officer

CHPD has been selling patches to help with Detective Gibbs training by Phoenix Assistance Dogs out of Lititz. The department would like us to display our cars. Each car will have its own entry box where people can donate money to vote for their favorite Corvette.

If you would like to come out to show your car and help raise money for Det Gibbs, we will shortly send out more details and a sign-up sheet.
